1908 - 2008 Model T Ford Centenary Tour of Australia

In April 2008 a group of club members from the Model T Ford Club of Australia (NSW) Inc, will be celebrating the 100 years of Model T Fords with a grand tour of Australia. They will be driving Model T's around the country for approximately 180 days! They will leave Sydney on April 20th and return mid October 2008, and expect to drive between 20,000 - 25,000 Kms on the tour. Annual Pre-World War II Swap Meet in Forest City, Iowa, at Heritage Park of North Iowa on Highway 69 South, at the edge of town.  Vendor setup noon Friday, June 6th.  Gates open to the public at 7:30 AM on Saturday, June 7th.  You are welcome to sell automobiles, trucks, tractors, airplanes, bicycles, motorcycles, gas engines, gas pumps, steam engines, agricultural machinery, and parts, books, literature and paraphernalia. The Model T turns 100 in 2008.  We are planning a birthday party and a celebration of the automobile.  Wayne County Fairgrounds in Richmond, Indiana.

2008 Model T Centennial Regional Tour in Cordoba, Argentina

 

 The Primer Club del Ford T de Argentina will host a centennial Model T Ford event  in and around Cordoba, Argentina during the first week of October 2008.  Cordoba is located about 450 miles west of Buenos Aires. This 100th birthday Model T Ford celebration will have daily tours through some of the most scenic/historic areas of the province and city of Cordoba.  There will be entertainment, great food and a chance to meet Model T enthusiasts in South America and practice your Spanish if you like.  You are also invited to visit our web site at http://www.fordt.org.ar/ .
